Pumpkin Patch

I love this time of year! The beautiful colors and pumpkins everywhere. We went to a pumpkin patch that Matthew went to when he was in preschool. Josh's eyes lit up when he saw all those "orange balls". He was going non stop the whole time. Most of my pictures of him is while he is talking about the "orange balls". Matthew had to go and find the biggest one he could pick up. They are both all boy when it comes to things like this and having their picture taken is not what they want to do.

Go Grasshoppers!

We finally got time to go to one of the last home games for the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Matthew had a blast! He had never been to a baseball game before and was really into what was happening on the field. I think he enjoyed the popcorn and the fireworks the most. We hope next summer to make it back to cheer on the Hoppers!

We brought Josh back a stuffed Guilford the grasshopper. He gave it a big hug.

Beach Fun!!

We had a great time at the beach. My boys had so much fun. We went with my parents and my sister and her husband. This year we stayed at a bigger house so my kids had plenty of room to run around. Josh was on the move the whole time. He was splashing and digging and running. I love this picture of the boys. We got Matthew this dump truck when he was three and we have taken it to the beach every year. So this year Josh had to have one of his own so they both can be on the go. Here they are with their trucks getting ready to run up and down the beach.

OK. Everyone knows I take lots and lots of pictures. So here is the highlight of the week. I'm not going to post all 400 pictures that I took. :)

Summer.....

Where has my summer gone! It's been a blur. Well here is a summary of what the Randall's have been up to for the last four weeks. We celebrated Matt's seventh birthday and Josh's first. We enjoy some time at my sister's pool the weekend of the fourth. Then we headed to the mountains for a day with the in-laws. And last we topped it off with a week of vacation bible school. I really need a weekend with nothing to do! Here are some of the pictures and a video from VBS. The video is the ever popular "Brown Squirrel Song"! Water Everywhere!

This is what Josh is like when he gets a bath. He loves the water and gets very excited.

Summertime is Here!

It only takes a plastic turtle and a water sprinkler to make us happy. This was a great ending to a hot afternoon. Matt and Josh had a ball playing in the water and their parents got to take a little break.

Bubbles

Sunday afternoon between the rain showers we got out some bubbles and let the boys play outside. Matthew only lasted a minute before he was off to ride his bike but Josh hung around trying to pop them. I'm real surprise on how well the camera picked up the bubbles in the pictures. Here are some of the best.

This was a fun afternoon. Matthew was all about being the big brother. It started when I found a sailor's hat in some old clothes that was packed up. Josh really didn't care to wear it but Matthew wanted him to have a boat. So Matt found an empty diaper box and drew some water at the bottom of the box and Josh was ready to sail. Matthew started pushing him up and down the hall. Josh giggled the whole time. It was neat to see how Matthew has taken to being the big brother. He loves to make Josh laugh.

The real challenge is to come up with something interesting to say. Whoever said blogging was easy should be hung by their little toe. Matt said, "don't do it", while looking over my shoulder. Josh is busy playing with his toy balls. His clicking of the plastic balls is a constant as a clock. Now both boys are in the rocking chairs. Rocking , Rocking, Rocking. But the TV has caught Matt and Josh is under my feet trying to push the blue button on the HP. So I guess I'll end this before he does. Night.
