Only got to trick or treat at one house in Halloween due to bad storms came through.  Josh and I went back home to hang out.  Randy went to the store to hang out with Matt because had to work that night.

Pumpkin Patch 2019

I love that I get to enjoy this tradition with my mom and sister!  We headed out to Isley’s farm Saturday morning to their pumpkin patch. The weather was great and the kids had a blast.  They always do the hay bales mazes first then on to pick out a pumpkin.  We always get strawberry ice cream and sit in the rocking chairs.  I’m going to miss this when Josh out grows this tradition!

Weekend Favorites

We really enjoyed the cooler temps this weekend!  I think it got us into the fall spirit. 😊  We got a lot done like painting the bathroom ceiling and weeding the flower beds.  We also slowed down and played a game of monopoly together that took three hours to end!  Sunday night we enjoyed a fire and s’mores.  Great weekend!!

Matthew’s Senior Photos

I can’t believe Matthew will be graduating soon!  We are so proud of the young man he has become! ❤️ He is sweet, funny and smart.  He has a bright future ahead. These are just a few of my favorite from senior photos.

Mount Airy Car Show

This was a great afternoon with family and friends. The cars were amazing!  We stopped in Mayberry and took a ride in the police car. 😁  Also did a little shopping downtown.

Friday Favorites

This week has been just the usual running back and forth.  I want to remember these things for when my kids are all grown up and moved out.  Here is a look at our schedules right now.  

Monday: gym-class

Tuesday: Josh piano lessons 🎹

Wednesday: Matt goes for tutoring and I go to church for choir practice 

Thursday: gym with Randy 🏋🏻‍♂️

Friday: grocery pickup and dinner out with Randy and Josh

Matthew works Mondays and Fridays 4-8pm at the store. He also works on Saturdays at the field all day.  Me and the other two try to hit the gym on the weekends together and I food prep on Sunday after church. 🥗🌮🥪

I did get to have lunch with Matt this week.  This was the highlight of my week! #cookoutinthevan We met up in the parking lot after Matt’s class at Weaver.
