Friday Favorites

This week has been just the usual running back and forth.  I want to remember these things for when my kids are all grown up and moved out.  Here is a look at our schedules right now.  

Monday: gym-class

Tuesday: Josh piano lessons 🎹

Wednesday: Matt goes for tutoring and I go to church for choir practice 

Thursday: gym with Randy 🏋🏻‍♂️

Friday: grocery pickup and dinner out with Randy and Josh

Matthew works Mondays and Fridays 4-8pm at the store. He also works on Saturdays at the field all day.  Me and the other two try to hit the gym on the weekends together and I food prep on Sunday after church. 🥗🌮🥪

Here are some snapshots from our busy week. 

I did get to have lunch with Matt this week.  This was the highlight of my week! #cookoutinthevan We met up in the parking lot after Matt’s class at Weaver.

Band

Well Josh is trying his hand at middle school band. 👍🏻 So that means another instrument in the house. 🎺🎼 He is super excited and all smiles!  Maybe marching band some day? 😁

We asked our dad if we could take some photos of him in his turnout gear before he turned them it.  He decided that after 51 years of being a volunteer firefighter that he would retire. Station 28 has been part of our lives for 51 years! He hardly ever missed a training (every Tuesday night) or a board meeting.  Our family just wanted to thank him for the many years of service he gave to the community. ❤️ We are so proud!

Pumpkin Time

Our annual pumpkin patch trip.  I love that my sister and I are able to share this tradition with our kids.  Oh course Matt has outgrown this part of Halloween but he still jumps in to carve his pumpkin.

Trout Fishing

We headed to the mountains at the end of September with the in-laws to go trout fishing.  The weather was wonderful.  The boys had the best time!  Josh was the first to catch a fish so he was super happy about that. :)  The group caught a total of 18 trout!  That's a lot of fish!!
